As name shows the difference , there is no use of sands in this game But it means not there is no other powers that Prince have.Prince of Persia Forgotten sands included in Historical and Adventure Games.So, The Prince has four types of power which is also called Elemental Powers. Elemental powers are Water , Fire , Air And Earth.Each power has some special Abilities. For example "Solidify " is a ability to solid the water which is helpful in climbing and use like pillars.These power is given by Razia ( A mysterious Woman who learns to Prince to control over Water).
Prince Of Persia Forgotten Of Sands starts with Prince which was running on the Palace of Malik ( Prince's Brother ). He was king and now under attacked . Prince met with his Brother in the way and asked about what was going? Malik said to open the door so that we can escape.After Fighting , the Army the Malik and prince meet at Salomon' Place ,there they saw imaginary which help him powerful than before.At the same time Skeletons born out from earth to kill them but they fight and run away from them.Soon , they separate and Malik is converting into Beast or monster And Prince got the Razia which give him the magical powers as i described above.So , Prince attack him Malik's Badge which converts into normal but died.
